DIAmond Accredited Taxi Trainer (DATT)
At Key Skills Instructor Training we have a professional DIAmond Accredited Taxi Trainer (DATT) who is able to assist taxi drivers & potential taxi drivers to develop theirprofessional driving skills.
The Taxi Test requires specialist knowledge & skills from both the trainer & trainee in order to meet the standards currently required by many Local Authority Licensing departments to gain &/or renew either a Hackney Carriage or Private Hire Vehicle licence.
DATT trainers have the skills & expertise to offer all taxi drivers & potential taxi drivers advice & guidance on what will be expected, & how to prepare for, either the DSA or DIA Taxi Test.
Training
The 1 day (8 hour) course will include vehicle maintenance awareness, driver skills development including reversing & turning manoeuvres, cabology, Highway Code comprehension questions & an overview of Passenger Awareness skills.
